Why I love Famous Footwear

Momma got some new running shoes for only $27.09 at Famous Footwear!!

I actually set out to buy a pair of $80 running shoes that I had set my sights on online, but the frugal girl in me never passes up the clearance rack!

I shop at Famous Footwear often! When I buy school shoes for the boys, summer shoes, vacation shoes, work shoes, running shoes, super cute shoes…….. I go to Famous Footwear. And it certainly pays to be loyal.

As a Famous Footwear Rewards member you can earn 1 point for every $1 you spend. If you spend more than $200 per year you will earn 1.5 points per $1 spent.  You can also earn points just by signing up, you get an extra 100 points when you hit $200 in one year… and more!

I love loyalty programs because really, I’m getting perks for “doing what I do” and who doesn’t want that?

Most recently, I got a $25 off my next purchase certificate from Famous Footwear.

Online these shoes are listed at $69.99 and on sale for $59.99. I found them on the clearance rack for $50. Minus my $25 Rewards certificate I paid $27 (with tax).

One more thing that I love about Famous Footwear is that they seem to have Buy One Get One 1/2 Off sales at least once a month. It seems like it anyway. So, just be mindful of when those sales come around to do your shopping. Save on the front end (1/2 off) and save on the backend (with loyalty Rewards).

What are your favorite loyalty programs?

I will have to check them out! I’m always SO conflicted with sneaker shopping. We have a mom and pop sneaker store in our neighborhood. Since they are a one location business, they don’t have the means to do the kinds of frequent shopper promotions that national chains do. Sometimes they’ll have a coupon (but never, it seems, when I need a pair!). I hate choosing the large buying power of the national chains over the little guy, but sometimes I feel like my budget gives me no choice.
