Update: This post was written in June 2014. The offer for a free 30-day trial of Noom is no longer valid.
I received compensation for participating in this 30 Day Challenge and my work on this review. This post was made possible by Mom Spark Media. Thoughts are my own.
I am so very excited to announce that I will be sharing a 30 Day Challenge with you and I have a FREE 30-day trial of the super awesome Noom Coach app PRO version (use this link for the free trial) to share with you so that you can join me on this journey and we can support each other along the way.
I just started today so you can join me on day one! With that link for the FREE pro version trial you will gain access to my personal Noom Group so get to it.
I’m only 5’3″ so a few extra lbs is a lot on me and I am currently sitting at 147 lbs. At least 15-20 too many. For the most part I’ve stopped being in pictures with my boys again and I just take them, but I’d really love to be able to be in the photos without hiding between or behind my boys so I’m determined to tackle these pesky pounds, and rock a tank top again.
On January 1st I vowed to walk/run/hike 500 miles this year and I started out strong, but on Jan 3rd I was told I needed shoulder surgery for a torn labrum and I had surgery on January 31st. I was in a sling for six whole weeks and basically immobile for those six weeks. While it was a much needed “break”, it did my weight and body (and goals) no favors at all.
Six months later I am still working out the kinks in my shoulder so I have shied away from going at it in the gym. Not to mention that the lbs I put on during those six weeks intimidate me. Truthfully, I’m embarrassed. I have begun walking and hiking again which is great, but I have paid no attention to what I put in my mouth and that is also not helping me get the weight off. Duh.
When you use my Noom Coach app link and activate your FREE 30 day trial of the PRO version you gain access to Noom Groups, most importantly my Noom Group, and hundreds of great and easy Noom Recipes.
With Noom Coach PRO WE will log our meals with Nooms super easy database. They have perfected the search so that it allows you to log meals in seconds. They have color coded foods to educate us on which foods really are healthy and which are not. And when I logged my breakfast fruit smoothie it told me how many calories I have left for the day which will allow me to make better choices!
I have already enjoyed the daily task list which gave me a quick reminder that I needed to get up from my desk and move a little. It even gave me suggestions like squats, shoulder shrugs, assisted push ups… And I was easily able to log my activity.
I think I’m most excited about the built-in pedometer that is battery-friendly. I don’t feel like I’ve done that much today but I’ve already logged 816 steps!
So whaddaya say? I’m already doing this and I really, really want you to do this with me because I need your support and motivation and I’d love to be your support and motivation too.
Don’t worry if you are not an Android user, I will be posting and updating every Tuesday and I welcome you to join in the support on these posts.
Be sure to sign up with my Noom Coach app link to get a free 30 day trial of the PRO version which allows you into my group!
