I was told yesterday by my taste-testers (aka my boys) that these were the BEST CHIPS EVER!
I put together a video (SORRY for the video quality) on how to make homemade tortilla chips so go check it out.
Ingredients
- 12 corn tortillas (each tortilla makes four chips, more of less for desired quantity)
- 2-3 c. Vegetable oil
- salt to taste (optional)
Directions
- Pour oil into frying pan and heat to medium low/medium
- Cut tortillas into four strips
- Fry tortilla strips in preheated oil. See How to Make Homemade Tortilla Chips.
- Remove from oil
- Salt to taste
ENJOY! You can dip into your favorite salsa or guacamole but once you taste these you might want to eat them just plain!

Made these again tonight. They are so yummalicious
Yummy! I’m seriously trying to get serious about losing some weight. So I haven’t made these in a while. Ugh, this losing weight shit sucks!
