we love popchips in this house. and we LOVE their newest flavor that was created by one of my favorite popstars… katy perry herself. have you seen/tasted the new flavor yet? oh. my. goodness. i’m fairly confident that this will become your new favorite flavor. it is sweet and salty. in popchip form! my boys can’t get enough. my 9 year old even requests it for dessert after dinner!

when global popstar katy perry became the new face of popchips® and an investor they were thrilled.  when she told popchips® that she wanted to create her own flavor, they couldn’t wait to get started.  they didn’t know what we were in for and ended-up getting a first hand look at the drive, passion and attention to detail that’s helped turn katy perry into a global brand and popstar.

katy knew what she wanted – it wasn’t just another flavor of popchips. it had to be unique. it had to be a new platform for the brand. she wanted the product and packaging to combine the best of the popchips brand and katy’s personality.

drawing on katy’s passion for popcorn and craving for something sweet & salty they got inspired.  and after a lot of popping,  they worked together to create katy’s kettle corn, a popcorn  chip that’s sweet, salty and naturally delicious.

and with less than half the fat of fried chips, it’s only a sin if you don’t share it!

she even created the packaging. the colors. the spotlight. and even the heart! katy even wrote the messaging on the back of the pack herself about how the product came to be and why she chose the flavor.
