I know that times are tough. For some times are even more tough.
My baby sister, 24, has a fairly unheard of disease that actually affects more people than down syndrome, cystic fibrosis, muscular dystrophy, and sickle cell anemia – COMBINED! And yet you have heard of those.
The disease she has is a life threatening disease called PKD, polycystic kidney disease. She has cysts on her kidneys and she lives in pain every single day. There is no cure and there is no treatment.
She will very likely need a kidney transplant by age 30.
I am begging you to please consider donating $10 to support me (and my boys) in raising money for research.
The Rocky Mountain Chapter of PKD is hosting a walk (just like the breast cancer walks) in Denver on Sunday, September 18th. You can help by donating OR walking too.
How about walking WITH me!?
