Saturday night we rented our very first movie from Blockbuster Express! I knew that we were renting Real Steel so I made sure to reserve it online to make sure that it was available. The process was extremely easy and I highly recommend reserving your movie online before you head to the kiosk. The website also has an area to locate a kiosk near you. Since I’d never rented a movie from Blockbuster Express this was super convenient.
We picked up a couple of Little Caesar’s pizzas and watched the movie.
I loved this movie. It was one of the best movies to hit the movie scene in quite a while. I have to say, this is a definite must see movie! When I told the boys we were renting this movie they were SO excited to watch it and they wanted to watch it immediately. It was all I could do to hold them back for family movie night!
This isn’t just a movie about fighting robots, which is kind of what I thought it was. This is a movie about family, and rebuilding relationships, and bonding, and parenting, and forgiveness, and personal growth WITH fighting robots. This movie is for women, men, children and will even make the toughest man tear up. My boys said it best when they said it is a “heartwarming” movie.
And then….. Jonesie and I made a robot of our very own out of recycled materials! Go see my Google + album to see the final robot.
I highly, highly, HIGHLY recommend this movie. And be sure to stop by your local Blockbuster Express to rent.

What a great family project! Thank you so much for sharing! My hubs and son are really looking forward to seeing this movie and the recycled robot would be a fun project to share with my son’s Destination Imagination team! I’ve never used a movie rental kiosk before. No good reason, other than never having taken the time to explore. I appreciate knowing how easy it was for you, as a first time renter
