10 lbs lost in month 1 with Medifast

by Jill on February 13, 2013

Hi! Hey there! Remember me?

I haven’t blogged in what feels like forever. I’ve been sick, and I just can’t seem to shake it. I thought I had the flu (the real flu), but the flu test was negative and the strep test was positive. Blech.

Anyhoo, I’m chugging along on Medifast and still kicking butt! I didn’t weigh in at all in week 3, but at the end of week 4 I was down another two pounds! YAY! That puts me in double digits for month 1!

Confession: I fell off the Medifast wagon last week when I wasn’t feeling well. I couldn’t eat, didn’t want to eat anything because I felt sooo terrible. I did eat Lipton Noodle Soup, crackers and rainbow sherbet for about three days. LOL. Total sick comfort foods.

I thought I was going to go backwards because I faltered, but I didn’t and for that I am so very grateful! Because in that time that nagging voice in my head kept telling me I was weak and of course, I went off plan. But I quickly got rid of it. I was not feeling good. I couldn’t even get out of bed. I was achy. I was freezing. Then I was hot. And noodle soup was just what I needed. Medifast does have chicken noodle soup (and other soups to choose from), I just didn’t happen to have ordered any!

I’m looking forward to month two and hoping for big losses again!! Just as I got sick, I was ready to amp up the exercise so I am really looking forward to be able to get moving and move those pounds OUT for good. icon smile

So, how are you coming on your NewYear’s Resolutions? Money? Weight? A better you?

Week 1: -8 lbs || Week 2: -3 lbs || Week 4: -2 lbs  || Total = -10 lbs

Starting weight – 147 || Weight today – 137

Sorry to hear you were sick. Dieting is like riding a bike. If you fall off, you just get back on. Good luck!

10 pounds is great. Good luck continuing! My resolution this year was to be more organized, which is really hard right now since we’re in the middle of a move.

That’s awesome about your weight loss, keep up the good work and I hope you get better soon. I’ve never had strep (knock on wood) hopefully it won’t last too much longer for you.
